LA RECENSIONE

In my opinion, Goldrush is a very underrated band. Listen to Dead (the last song on this album) and tell me again that they are a bland band.

Sure, they're not original, and they definitely draw inspiration from various bands like Radiohead, but all the songs on the album have a continuity. They never lose tone, transitioning from cheerful moments (Some Picture, Wide Open Sky) to perhaps melancholic ones (Best Intentions Don't Bring Me Down, Dead).

And it's precisely the melancholic moments that are the album's strong points. I'm not really asking you to spend 20 euros to get the album, also because there are many others around that are worth spending on. But at least I'm asking you to appreciate this group, because they deserve it.

I can't wait for the next album!
