Robert Zemeckis Chi Ha Incastrato Roger Rabbit?

One vote less for the statement about Forrest Gump... I mean, I don’t agree at all with the assertion regarding the superiority of this film (which I adore, by the way) over Forrest Gump... but I must admit that this movie is a true visual beauty, the animations become serious, but not forcibly violent, is it a children’s film? No, but it could be... it’s a film for everyone, fun and tense, rich in author references, a masterpiece in short... but Forrest Gump is even superior to it.
Neri Parenti Christmas In Love

I agree with 99% of the points listed, but the fact that De Sica is recommended doesn't mean he's bad, quite the opposite... the problem is that he probably has never been able to stand up to his father (who could?), so he has NEVER DARED to go beyond the low-quality films he has made; he has never had the courage to raise the bar, he has settled, in short... and yet, look, I've seen, alas, many Christmas movies, and I noticed that our Christian De Sica has a truly remarkable miming ability... and even at the level of vocal expressiveness, he's definitely above the standards of other actors (Boldi in particular, he’s not an actor; he’s someone who perhaps only makes you laugh with a sidekick next to him, as seen with Teo Teocoli)... then there are other notable actors, given the dough they earn, who lend themselves to these silliness, like MASSIMO GHINI, a very talented actor also in theater, who has now become De Sica's official sidekick... but I have to say one thing, maybe because I was still young and naïve, but I must admit that Natale sul Nilo, even though acted poorly by all the actors, even though it’s just like all the others, amused me a bit... of course, if you shove Totò on TV, it’s a whole different story.
Camillo Mastrocinque Totò, Peppino e la... Malafemmina

Comedic immensity, the criticism of the time was one of the most ridiculous and ruthless ever seen, as instead of taking Totò's films for what they were, that is, high-class comedy, only the negative aspects were highlighted. They will be remembered only for their stupidity, Totò for his greatness. This, then, is a pearl of comedy, there was invective and improvisation, now they try to make people laugh only with vulgarities (Vanzina first of all), although, over the years, even Totò was cast in lowbrow comedies that relied on erotic connotations (Totò Sexy, Totò Peppino and la Dolce Vita, Gambe d'oro)... but with this, we have reached the pinnacle of Italian comedy, no one will ever reach that level again. No one.

Ah, but it was a provocation, it's a bluff... one of the many from DeBaser, in short.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of Queen; they’ve been my true musical obsession, and without them, I wouldn’t have discovered all those bands I know now. However, on certain points in your review, I can't quite agree with you... "The works of so-called singer-songwriters, progressive rock, and many others don’t reach the melodic, harmonic, vocal, and arrangement level of the two Queen songs": probably not with the singer-songwriters, but surely with the progressive ones, since Queen themselves have attempted to venture into some high-level prog experimentation (The Propheth's Song). Yet, technically, they didn’t reach the levels of King Crimson, Genesis, Camel, VDGG, Jethro Tull, etc., etc., etc., etc. "(we have an example of nonsensical virtuoso primate in 'Moby Dick,' also by Led, the backdrop of Led!)": well, here it’s a matter of taste, but I absolutely love the head-tail duo of Moby Dick, you know, the one with the other instruments; the solo is just a way to showcase how good Bonham is, but we could have easily done without it, so I wouldn't call it nonsensical but rather self-celebratory… and the Queen were too, albeit in a decidedly more obsequious way. "Does Scaruffi really seem clownish?": I used to consider Scaruffi a complete fool, but now I just see him as confused; he’s listened to too many bands, and he’s listened to them all too quickly, promoting Modern Dance by Pere Ubu (an unbearable album to my ears, still today I find nothing interesting in it except for the portrayal of a cold, postmodernized civilization), The Velvet Underground & Nico (great album, no denying it), while practically trashing everything else. To define Queen I as an abomination means not understanding anything about music, or having listened to the album while drunk: having read a lot about him, I lean towards the second thesis... or he’s just a provocateur. Then according to your musical tastes... well, where's The Millionaire Waltz?

With the advent of digital terrestrial television, it would be a good idea to remove TeleAkery from the channel list, since, although very pleasant, this review makes me understand that Mr. Raffaello has truly impressed you; writing such a long review is not something everyone does.

With this review on De Baser, we have the complete package of reviews from the first album to Discovery, regarding their studio works. I have no intention of reviewing Power Of Balance and similar works, as I have barely listened to them, and they don't attract me at all. I hope that, thanks to our reviews, other people will come closer to this group, which, although not technically immense, is a noteworthy band.
