Immense, spine-tingling disc.

It competes with "Felona e Sorona" for the best album of their discography, closely followed by "Collage"... I don’t know the others well yet, but this and Felona are truly two masterpieces of Italian prog!!!

The review is nice, although definitely too, too long... in some parts you could have avoided the digressions, but it is what it is... the album, all in all, is a good diversion while waiting for what I consider their masterpieces: "Secret Treaties" and "Tyranny And Mutation". This one is a good start, fairly solid in some areas, too experimental in others. In the end, BOC will take the path of "Cities On Flame" and "Stairway To The Stars", and they'll do well.

I found another mistake, this review is becoming a nightmare, even though this time it's not my fault... I realized that, actually, the effect of blurring on the right side in Shangri-la was due to a coding error XD. Listening to the song properly, there's no trace of the effect, everything is normal... anyway, it's still a beautiful song :)

A concise yet effective review... it explains exactly what this album represents... which finds its true strength in the final suite... a point and a half deduction for the CLAMOROUS plagiarism present in Maya Desnuda, with the opening riff IDENTICAL to that in Nothing At All by Gentle Giant... go listen to them and you will notice they are PERFECTLY IDENTICAL!!! Coincidence? I don't think so; they are too similar.
