For a record like this... this review is a bit too meager, I'm realizing that as I reread it...

I know very little about Harrison's solo work; what I've heard I don't mind. But I definitely prefer the solo careers of McCartney and Lennon, who I believe is a notch above everyone else.

Yes, I partially agree… the first one is a small masterpiece… the second one is very, very slow, strange, at times unbearable. I don’t like it at all.

the band is of immense value, kosmo... delve deeper, especially into their first album, "a storm in heaven." the consecration came with "urban hymns," and it's definitely a masterpiece. with the release of this best, I hoped for a reunion, but nothing happened. I had heard they got back together to record "this could be moment," but it wasn't true; the song dates back to the sessions of "urban hymns."

Listen to "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum and then "Spread Your Love"... as soon as I made the comparison, I was hit by a shock...
The Cranberries Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?

From how it had been presented to me, I expected a masterpiece. Instead, I found myself with a nice little CD but nothing more. Notable tracks include "dreams," "linger," and track 11 "how"; the rest remains rather anonymous.
