Last work from Roman Federico Zampaglione and his band, and it's a work that doesn't strike on the first listen, the same thing happened to me.
But I learned to appreciate it, even though it's not my genre, in fact, me and Italian music are two completely separate things.
It starts with a very soft and calm ballad like "Come l'aria," which immediately gives us a sense of the flow of the entire album, very relaxing and gentle...
"I giorni migliori," one of the singles extracted, sounds very pop, quite catchy, even if it's not a masterpiece.
"Per me è importante," a track broadcast over and over by various Mtv, ReteA and Italian radios to nausea, was the first single and is perhaps the highest point Tiromancino reach on this album.
"È necessario" is the only track that sounds a bit rock and in the initial chords, it reminds something of Placebo's "Every You Every Me".
There's also room for dark and melancholic atmospheres in "Sarebbe incredibile," one of the final tracks.
Definitely skip "Nessuna certezza," born from the collaboration with Meg from 99 Posse, and "Tutto intorno a noi," tracks that are quite useless in my opinion.
An album that can seem at times very slow and excessively calm, but it's not all to be discarded. Decent.
The lyrics are beautiful and delicate but also the exact opposite: dark and realistically raw, even in introspection.
An album that speaks of opposites, very musically rich from punk to prog to piano, to groove.
