very technical? My rating mainly depends on the fact that it is structured exactly like your other review, and like the other one, it is empty and cold.

Dave, I told you, better one good review than twenty poor ones. Some are nice, but still too short and lacking ideas. Follow my advice: if you feel like writing a review per minute, wait ten and come up with a well-thought-out one. Great album, I wanted to write the review myself, well, I’ll do it since you had me redo the one for Control.

he was the weakest prey because he was the only one who had to thank even the pigeons in the street for being there to play, and this already put him at a remarkably high level of submission. James’s aggression was likely due to his psychological and very human need to blame someone, as happens to most people; his brain could not accept the random misfortune (see first and foremost the beaten driver). With Trujillo, the situation is different; he can feel happy or honored, but never at a lower level, since he comes from Ozzy (excuse me, but way more famous than Metallica) and with Suicidal Tendencies, he already had a satisfying solo career (solo in the sense of not being a session musician), in short, he had his balls...

Cliff, don’t you dare question my passion for Metallica, who are the band I love the most, above all genres; and that's why they've been pissing me off since around 1991, precisely because I adore METALLICA, not what they've become since that PATHETIC, COMPLEXED, FALSE, OPPORTUNISTIC, TERRIBLY DULL, AND PROBABLY GAY Bob Rock got involved. The Heineken Jammin' Festival concert was the best day of my life. Beyond the complexity of the riffs, I like Metallica as a band, as their "drive" is way stronger than any DEATH, CYNIC, SADUS, or ATHEIST; I just don't have bresaola slices over my eyes and I see and recognize the nonsense they produce. I openly say what, from some point of view, grates on me or I don't like. Look, I know how it is; until a couple of years ago, when I heard something by Metallica that I found disgusting or some interview that horrified me, I would insert the brain filter "EHISONOIMETALLICAEHISONOIMETALLICA EHISONOIMETALLICAEHISONOIMETALLICAE HISONOIMETALLICAEHISONOIMETALLICAEH ISONOIMETALLICAEHISONOIMETALLICA." You'll see, Cliff, sooner or later it will pass for you too, and if you like them as it seems from your comments, I can assure you that the passion for Metallica won't fade either. The only alternative to this discussion is that you genuinely like Load, Reload, and St. Anger, but since you're presumably a person with a sense of music, I doubt it.

"The Ballad" by Testament, more of a ballad than this... joking aside, it’s very beautiful and also creatively stands out from the usual "traditional" chords. Album "Practice What You Preach"

The difficulty of the bass line in "Blackened" is on par with the others on the album: nothing. 1. What does that ironic "not everyone can do it" mean? 2. The hate isn’t involuntary; Hetfield simply took it out on the prey he sensed to be the weakest, we’re animals, James. 3. "Managed to enter the legend" is very debatable; wait six months, and when you ask about Newsted the answer will be "Who???... oh, that guy who was the bassist for Metallica for a while." 4. I made comments about Newsted's style, technical abilities, and sounds; you defended him tooth and nail as if he were a deity just because he played with Metallica... please, not just you, nor Cliff, but many, many metalheads, stop licking the Metallica boots everywhere.
Metallica Kill 'Em All

Well, thrash isn’t really left-wing in the sense of being left; it’s more left by American standards, somewhat similar to punk in its underlying ideology. I don’t think Metallica are leftist like Testament, but they’re definitely not Nazis like Slayer.

Yes, but it only serves as a power-up for the power chords of the guitars, too mechanical, lacking soul, ugly sounds, excessively pumped up on stage, inauthentic euphoria, probably just a facade because he knew he was going to get his ass kicked afterward...he's never been a great bassist, whereas Trujillo (who I’ve always liked, I’m re-evaluating him as a great bassist as well, listening to Suicidal Tendencies, he explores much more there than in that crap of st.anger, if you think about it, if you've never listened to the Suicidal, you've never really listened to Trujillo, since with Metallica he sticks to the bass lines of his predecessors it seems, and with Ozzy he was just a hired gun.

It's boring and there's nothing new compared to Gore Obsessed...I sense the vibe of a sunset.
