Anyway, in the 1700s, apart from all the harpsichords, people walked around in their little pants because they didn’t wash much (there weren’t bathrooms back then, just harpsichords). So let’s stop thinking about the 1700s with nostalgia and enjoy our bidets! Oh, and by the way, putting Visions on the same level as the other albums you mentioned is very, very bold... okay, it’s a stunning album, but I wouldn’t call it historic.

I don't agree only on the role of Darren White... in my opinion, if Cavanagh had sung, it wouldn't have been as good. Sure, those vocals are very "annoying," but damn, they are so much more heartfelt and expressive than Cavanagh's, which in my view suit a more refined music. I mean, starting from Silent... Sleepless is truly stunning.

dark/ambient if I may bother you! Anyway, it's hard to explain Kosmo, but at least it deserves a listen. Describing this kind of music is not easy at all; it’s not like saying, "yeah, in the second track there's double pedal, in the third there isn't, in the fourth the guitarist does a sweep, in the fifth a tapping scale".... just to say.... anyway, three more things:
1 The album has different artworks... I would say three... all taken from abandoned-places, and by the way, one more beautiful than the other.
2 Where the hell did you find dying? Did you order from the catalog or did you find it in a store? Or something else like I did?

I reply to damienrice: so Amnesiac, if you mean the Radiohead album I like it a lot, and it’s not even comparable to this for obvious reasons... I don’t know the rest, no, I don’t know spleen either, so what? I certainly don’t need to know all these things to understand if I like an album or not, do you think? (since you give awful ratings to metal albums without knowing the genre, I don’t see why I couldn’t do the same!
