Great Neapolitan author I met a long time ago when he was an emerging talent, thanks to a friend of mine who is a scenic designer. I don't know the album, but I will look for it.
Badly Drawn Boy The Hour of Bewilderbeast

What a shame! It's a dazzling debut album that deserved a proper review and lots of comments.

I'm quoting El without wasting too much time... the war against the Nazi-Nihilists is exhausting me. :-) I'm completely in sync with the Coens, especially with their sense of humor. When I first saw this movie, I was scared to death.

I too, like you, always have a bit of distrust towards the "dinosaurs," even though extinction should be wished for with reason and not when they show signs of vitality (see McCartney's latest, by the way Paul has a lot to do with this review...). There's no need for a vote, which is too generous, but your "feedback" is definitely needed: if the loyal ones start to dwindle too... :-)

An album of great suggestion, of remarkable, Eastern spirituality. I listened to the son Ravi live this year with the group of the famous pianist McCoy Tyner, who was already in the band with the legendary father, and he left a good impression on me. Absolutely pointless and unkind to make comparisons.
Peter Gabriel So

It's an album that accompanied me through an important part of my life, but all of Gabriel's solo works are always an event for me. I had the privilege of seeing him live just when this record was released: a force of nature. I am particularly fond of "We Do What We're Told (Milgram's 37)," a song dedicated to that 37% who, in the famous experiment by sociologist Milgram, refused to obey the authority of the professor and did not administer electric shocks (fake, but they didn't know that) to volunteers.

I really liked this album and I agree with the full 4, as well as the analysis.
Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

It's one of the many albums I wanted to talk about; but when I saw from the newsletter that the "prey" was now yours, I was pleased, confident that your vision would roughly align with mine. And so it was, even though the rating, in my opinion, is somewhat influenced by the not exactly favorable climate on the site towards the genre. I'm also not very much in agreement when you say: "...If you manage to appreciate the work, obviously downscaling it to a pleasant melodic toy...", as I have the impression that "quoque tu" :-) brings arguments to the thesis, which I have always opposed, of pop as a lesser genre, whose listening always requires some justification for the poor "sinners" living in the unhealthy vice.
The Beatles The White Album

Guys, let's not joke around with the "White Album"... Scaruffi is a self-indulgent blowhard.
