I don't know if that huge modular synthesizer was actually used or if it was just for show, but Mr. Flood (Producer of SOFAD along with the DM) is a great expert on Synths (I'm not sure if he falls among those 5-10 people) and he contributed to the success of the masterpiece Violator.

Humax, I also have A Maximum High, but at times Shed7 seem redundant to me, with horns and similar things. I can't tell you about the first CD; I had several of these albums, a bit more underground than Suede, bought on commission from friends who went to London, because around my area I couldn't find a damn thing!
