I just wanted to emphasize how relevant the lyrics of this album still are after more than twenty years. Lyrics that discuss different themes compared to other Depeche works. Just considerations, no propaganda. Everyone can hold onto their own opinions and political ideas. Thank you all.

First my Top5 then the first comments after a good few listens.
1) The Sinner in Me, 2) A pain that i'm used to, 3) Macro, 4) Suffer well, 5) Lilian.
10 Stars (out of 10) for the production by Ben Hillier, he pushed the boundaries a lot: many expertly crafted trip hop grooves, beautiful guitar sounds very different from the usual Gore sound, rich and powerful synth sounds. Hillier gave the album a very personal and modern sound, different from all the Depeche albums, yet at the same time with the classic Depeche sounds.
Dave's vocal performance convinced me a lot, his tracks a bit less, except for Suffer Well, where he was clever because it sounds a bit like Behind the Wheel!
Gore's lyrics are beautiful, and the rhymes effective like in the good old days.
What can I say, just missing to see them live, but damn, I can't find a ticket!!!

The worst album by R.E.M. among those I've listened to, trash it.

Smash the 2 newcomers for me. They are not just puppets; Hilpert is a co-writer of the new tracks, Schmitz mixed them in the studio, and then they play live! They are not puppets, or cardboard cutouts, or showroom dummies, but maybe Robots Yes! ;)
