First of all, nice nickname, I hope you'll use it in the future to review records produced by your famous namesake. That said, I only remember the title track and "deeeper & deeper" from this album, which I really liked at the time because I was into house music and also because the song had a bit of a melancholic vibe. I don't consider it at all the ancestor of "Hung-up" (they practically only share the four-on-the-floor beat), which instead seems to me a big misstep from the award-winning team Ciccone-Mirways.

One rates a compilation by taking it for what it is, namely a compilation. Personally, I don't buy compilations; in fact, I don't have this one. Instead, I have all the Depeche albums. Do you find the latest one monstrously overrated? I was so doubtful before it came out that, after listening to it, I was even surprised.
