They seem very interesting; I'm currently dedicating myself to rediscovering all these lesser-known Italian realities, so I'll definitely give them a listen. Great review :)

I open my eyes to the streets where I was raised as a man
And learned to use my hands for protection
In scuffles, throw all my blows in doubles
I'm coming from queens motherfucker carrying guns in couples
And wilding, a q-u soldier
From lefrak to rockaway back to queensbridge
Black it's only crack sales makin niggaz act like that
Back in the days we could scrap, now you lay on your back
As things changed with time I traded in my knuckles for a mac-10
And rather live the life of crime
With my bed-stuy connection connected in two
It's live boo start shit too wild for you
Peace to, baesley, forty-p get down
And when you outta town represent your ground
Them niggaz bleed just like us so show em where we come from
Queens; leavin niggaz done son

Massive advice, beautiful Moon! We have similar tastes, so I trust your recommendations in advance! ;)

I've read absurd reviews about "Absence," they say it's very beautiful! I haven't heard "From Filthy..." but I've also heard it praised quite a lot. As for Madvillain, I agree with caz: it's the best album of 2004 along with Raw Produce - "The Feeling Of Now LP" (very nice and jazzy, I recommend it). Giubbo, check out something from Anticon too, like cLOUDDEAD - "cLOUDDEAD," Sole - "Bottle Of Humans," Alias - "The Other Side Of The Looking Glass," Non Prophets - "Hope," Sage Francis - "Personal Journals," Jel - "10 Seconds," all very experimental stuff, and let me know what you think ;)

Well, I think a nice mouth job from Lil Kim would please everyone ;D but I have to say that's so tacky!! :DDD

Yeah, okay, Lil Kim is quite a notable ho, not that Foxy Brown is any less ;D now it seems like the stereotype of the submissive and whoreish woman is very much in vogue, and they proudly embrace it! Good for them... Thank goodness there are people like Jean Grae, Bahamadia, or even Ursula Rucker who help uplift the scene a bit, otherwise we'd really be stuck at "zipper and mouth games." Mui triste...
