But in fact, today even the black and death genres give me the so-called "wallera," because in the end, it tends to repeat itself :D so okay for Carcass, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Dark Tranquillity, okay for Emperor, Darkthrone, and Dimmu Borgir (all strictly vintage), but a black or death record that comes out today doesn't grab my attention at all, unless it's Axis Of Perdition or people who experiment in some way ;) Just listen to Axis, they devastate, industrial black metal for an instant boner :))

Maybe the problem is that I adore electronics, so what for many might be a cold sound that doesn't reach the heart is pure ecstasy for me :D Anyway, it’s not like I'm drooling when I listen to it; it's just that I consider it an album different from the usual Battisti by the campfire and guitar ;) Take care!

The only problem, perhaps, are the lyrics, which are not very polished (but this is the only album for which his wife wrote them, under the pseudonym of Valezia).

Wow, a bit of a disaster? :-O For me, it’s a great work in which Battisti really puts himself on the line, there are some pretty good arrangements that remind me a lot of electronic music and Kraftwerk. Definitely worth reevaluating.

Humax, I may not have explained myself clearly. What I'm saying is simply this: what sense would a Beatles album released today make? I do not deny the historical significance of the Beatles, for example, but I certainly wouldn't place a new Beatles album among those worth listening to because I already know that I wouldn’t find any experimentalism or brilliant ideas there. The same goes for nu-metal; for me, it's a genre that has failed to renew itself, it feels old, outdated (even considering the modern evolutions of metal, hardcore, and related genres). So I'm not saying that the first two Limp Bizkit albums, or "Demanufacture" by FF should not be listened to because they are outdated, simply that one cannot expect a stroke of genius from every new nu-metal release, because I just believe it will never come. I hope I've made myself clear :))

What do you think of "E Già" clash? I really like it, I think I'll delve into the BATTISTI OSCURO chapter ;)

But in fact, I didn't say "You only listen to nu-metal," I said it's pointless to insist on listening to a genre that has nothing left to say (my opinion ;) I mean, the foundations have been laid, the various KoRn, Machine Head, System Of A Down, Slipknot, the early Limp Bizkit, even Fear Factory, now enough, it's just a repetition and the poor demanding listener has had it up to here and desires something new :D
