Molko, from SY, is a band you should own everything from; they are one of the few groups that has managed to evolve their sound without ever falling into the obvious or the trivial. If we want to focus on their essential works, I'd say the indispensable indie trilogy ("EVOL," "Sister," "Daydream Nation") and, regarding their '90s discography, "Dirty" and "Washing Machine." Among their recent albums, "Murray Street" is the most representative of the latest "pop" evolutions of their sound, and for those who want to experience something more challenging, there are always the incredibly experimental EPs released under SYR ("SYR 1" is stunning). And now that's enough, or else they'll say I'm acting smart :)))

cin, could a jerk from Naples get along with a painter from Treviso? For me, it would be an interesting pairing, a great couple devoted to uninhibited sex in a house surrounded by paintings of Van Gogh and Gauguin, the one from the Polynesian period, full of naked beauties (I think she would accept). Here, I'll also give you 5 for the review to be a sycophant.

I've never really listened to this album carefully, and the little I did listen to never grabbed me much, even though I'm a huge fan of SY (their live show at the Independent was one of the best of my life). Should I check it out? I've also read quite a few negative opinions...

Come on guys, this is a masterpiece, no debate! Instead, I have something to say about "Wish You Were Here," that one I find highly overrated; for me, it's just a nice album, but this one is untouchable :)

To those you've mentioned, I would also add "Policy Of Truth," perhaps my favorite track on the album :) A masterpiece, no doubt, even though "Music For The Masses" might have just a little extra something...

Yes G, at first I didn't like it very much, but now after billions of listens I think I've changed my mind ;)
