Sex Pistols Nevermind The Bollocks

But indeed, I acknowledge the historical significance of the Sex Pistols and their break from the past, though more in an ideal sense than in a concrete one. Much more revolutionary are "Trans Europe Express" by Kraftwerk or the first self-titled album by Suicide ;-)

The updated versions of "Radio-Activity" and "The Robots" are stunning, while the rest is slightly lower.

Honestly, the more I listen to them, the less they say to me. Maybe it's because I greatly prefer the "electronic" component of New Wave, or maybe it's because I don't have a strong inclination for the classic Rock sound, but I really can't see them as anything more than a simple fashion phenomenon. I definitely prefer Siouxie & The Banshees, anyway ;-)

Is it the most overrated album in history or am I wrong? 4 just for its historical significance.

Bananarama :-)) Never mind, I’ll head towards other shores, but I don’t mind the 80's revival at all ;-)

His new experimental-electronic outfit had intrigued me a lot in "Vespertine"; everything else, as Il Califfo would say, is boredom ;-)

Great and important album, but personally I prefer "Richard D. James Album" and "Come To Daddy," or the early Ambient productions. Great review, in any case.

If you have sisters like Foxy Brown in the area, we could also think about family ties ;-)
