Ah, finally a review of Funky Porcini! I really like the follow-up "The Ultimately Earthly Million Pounds," perhaps even more. I believe the colorful initial description perfectly encapsulates their music, and, in general, a lot of the productions from Ninja Tune.. Well done! :-)

I don't think it's really appropriate to talk about "aesthetic minimalism" when it comes to Mùm. Apart from the translated titles of the pieces you mention, which actually seem quite elaborate to me, even the artwork and graphics of their work, while essential, give me the impression of being meticulously thought out. Please don't take this as a criticism of you; it's just my point of view :-)

What a sadness, however, to see so few comments on a review of a masterpiece in the history of Electronic music, and music in general...

Ah, I confused it with the first one, "Yesterday Was Dramatic, Today Is Ok".. The rating drops even more, then ;-)

I prefer "Finally We Are No One".. It’s not that I feel a lot of Trip-Hop in their music, honestly, I think they are more influenced by Post Rock, and Indie Electronic from Warp.. Then forgive me, but aren’t the last 30 seconds of "Glory Box," with the Isaac Hayes sample put on loop, the same as the remaining 3 minutes and more? :-))
