The bands you mentioned have absolutely nothing in common with Tokyo Hotel (some tracks from the album are nothing more than revised, corrected, and translated versions of tracks already present on their two previous albums, in German)... Just to say: let’s not confuse wool with silk... ;-)

I haven't seen it... Anyway, there's very little that's "irreverent" or "uncomfortable" in the latest seasons of The Simpsons; in fact, it seems to me they've really pushed the accelerator much more on the stupid/absurd side, leaving everything else aside...

@primiballi: Probably due to his intellectual and vaguely snobbish attitude, which I actually find very concrete at the same time... Personally, I prefer him with Bluvertigo (especially those from "Zero"), but even the beginning of his career seemed to promise well... Now he seems to have lost his way a bit, and this album seems to me like a pretentious work, with overly elaborate lyrics and excessive, baroque arrangements, at times almost annoying...

The mutation seems finally complete, in short.... I've always preferred their softer side, compared to the more overtly rock and noisy one... Beautiful cover... :-)
