The Chemical Brothers B-Sides Volume 1

Interesting, but if "We Are The Night" is a masterpiece, then what is "Dig Your Own Hole"?
This Will Destroy You This Will Destroy You

Is there also a "new school" of Post-Rock? How many think so....
Morcheeba Who Can You Trust?
Voto:
The most beautiful album by Morcheeba, no doubt about it... 4.5, "Big Calm" is half (or a) step below...
Klaxons Myths Of The Near Future
Voto:
Great job, even though it really isn't clear what a record that has very little or nothing to do with electronics has to do with raves... The Indie component (which is also quite guitar-heavy) is much more evident compared to the distinctly Electro aspect, which is limited to some samples or hints of Acid-House, but to go from that to talking about "Nu-Rave" is quite a leap...
Edie Brickell Picture Perfect Morning

I know the waaaay of too many things... That piece was even sampled by the Hip-Hop group Brand Nubian... Too bad that as his (discontinuous and fragmented) career progressed, he never reached those levels of fame again...
Hot Chip Made In The Dark
Voto:
Unavoidable is the electronics, which in this case leaves some room for a pop sound reminiscent of the '80s <-- Saying it this way makes it sound as if electronics were an inevitable evil... It seems to me that they sounded very '80s even in their previous works...
Tim Burton Batman
Voto:
Iconoclastic anti-consumerist fury... What is it, a Pasolini film? The soundtrack by Prince is beautiful...
Metallica St. Anger
Voto:
Is it a review or a biography/discography of Metallica? Is there really a need to repeat the same things every time? Bah....
Kev Brown I Do What I Do
Voto:
Very interesting... Congratulations on the proposals, dear Dalì! :-)
Archie Shepp Four For Trane
Voto:
Sure, but "Attica Blues" and "The Cry Of My People" are definitely another story...
