Did you manage to find "Organix"? It's their first album released back in 1993, and it seems to be muuuch more jazz than hip-hop in the strict sense... "Do You Want More??" is also really nice. And now, shopping recommendations:

I didn't listen to it, but I haven't read very positive reviews; maybe I could change my mind... I really liked "The Tipping Point," a nice compact album, smooth and well-produced. Thank you for the mention. :-)

@Giubbo: Look, I've really changed my mind about "Untilted"... After "Chiastic Slide", they got into an excessively abstract rhythmic experimentation; I believe the best things they produced were around the mid-90s (including the various EPs, all excellent). @Purpulan: it's a very evocative and atmospheric album, and that's also why they've chosen to "minimalize". :-) PS: "Tri Repetae" doesn't seem that compulsive to me, but rather regular in structure (there are some more suspended pieces there as well).

No way, absolutely disagree. I've always found "Incunabula" to be an immature album; you can tell it's a debut work. "Tri Repetae" is the perfect synthesis of their souls, but hey, it's a matter of taste... I prefer the rhythm.

Thank you, thank you. @kosmo: yes, I don't know why but it came out like this, I think it's a new (d)evolution.

As soon as I can, I'll add some samples, even though many will already know the album. ;-)

I was listening to the vinyl again a few days ago... A striking and cohesive album, probably the best after "Baduizm"... Great review, my friend.

I listened to the single, I don't know what to think... Five stars even?
