Daniel Johnston Fear Yourself

In Johnston's discography, this is the most polished album, as it is the only one that had a production, but this is also its biggest flaw; in fact, this is Daniel's least successful record, not so much because of the songs, but mainly due to the Sparklehorse-style sound that Linkous gives to the album, making these songs distant, incredibly distant from Johnston's world.

Finally, a "proper" review!
John Zorn The Big Gundown

Zorn's solo music is always the result of collaborations. In the review, I didn't want to mention the musicians involved, so as not to make it too lengthy...but without Bill Frisell, Arto Lindsay, Fred Frith, Wayne Horvitz, Diamanda Galas, Marc Ribot, Greg Cohen, Joey Baron, Mike Patton, and many others, this record wouldn't be the same...John Zorn solo but not only!

Typo: obviously the title of the album refers to the film by Sergio Sollima (The Big Gundown - La Resa Dei Conti) and not Collima, I made a typing mistake!
