THE REVIEW

“Can I kiss you on the boooob, like I did yesterday…” sings a kind of silly robot imitating Prince.

Nostalgic for the catatonic cheap folktronica of early Beck? In search of some healthy idiocy? Longing, after the election campaign, for true political incorrectness? What's the problem!

Year 92, the fake Ween brothers gave us the gift.
A bit of pre-Beck Beck (well, that doesn't count for much...), the Futurama-Prince mentioned above, with the robot set to some cheap old-skool, dumbed-down electro-country.

What can I say...
On track 14, they sound like the Black Crowes dazed by smoke, in the priceless “Don’t Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy)” the princely seduction attempt is placed in the mouth of a father talking to his creature.
But why should I write this, just look at the website to get the vibe…
