Your comment, Lector, is wonderful! I'm glad to learn that you, too, are enchanted by this record, and how much! Dot and the family bring so much humanity all at once. My intention was celebratory. It is too long, you are right! But largely it is the transcription of an hour in the car where I listened to them again and recorded the flow of my ramblings. It's hard to talk about the records we love, hard to stay silent about them. Here, love is truly irrational or pre-rational. The mystery comes into play.
