Beautifully written, heartfelt, and very communicative.

I share the wonder and admiration for that little gem "The Death Is Not The End" (beautiful also in "Murder Ballads" by Cave and company, indeed). The "raw" and "Gospel" perspective you assign to it saves the record. But it will indeed be a great record, I agree here too, only the subsequent "Oh Mercy"!

I haven't seen it yet. It seems interesting to me. Certainly, the ethical and existential issues it raises go beyond the purely religious aspect. From what you say, the drama appears to be primarily individual rather than collective, as a comparison that comes to mind is in The Mission by Joffe. The evaluative approach of the direction that you mention, which forces the viewer to take a stand, is commendable.

I think I felt the same way.

I just heard this morning, on the radio, a detailed and enthusiastic review of the film. Your lovely page strengthens it. You wrote very well. I might just take my wife along.

Grandiose Hopless page. "The truth of the forest is to give meaning to all the trees...".

Worthy shoulder group of a caustic soda pig... can that work as a summary? DNA is the one who did the acid-house remix of Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega? Could it be? Brâv Grinder!

A truly beautiful and extraordinary page. It describes her voice well, truly "enchanting and structured."

Beautiful page, interesting artist.

Excellent writing. An album that hasn't captivated me like others by Neil.
