Modification of the review: "La terra degli aquiloni" is an album released in 2011 by Mango.
The record begins with La terra degli aquiloni which has a good rhythm but that’s about it. La sposa, the lead single, stands out for Panella's lyrics but doesn’t shine. Not radio-friendly at all. Dove ti perdo improves the album, it's a love ballad that slowly builds up and eventually moves me. Chiamo le cose is an intense and delicate piece but I believe it doesn’t fit well in this tracklist. The music is slow and makes the album feel somewhat lackluster. Guarda l'Italia che bella is another example. Tutto tutto wakes us up a bit but it’s nothing extraordinary. Il pazzo, on the other hand, is one of the best tracks. The rhythm is very engaging and the chorus makes me soar. The album closes with Il rifugio by Fabrizio and Morra. More than a refuge, it feels like stepping into a novel. Overall, this is a rather unconvincing album, though it does have 2 or 3 strong tracks. The lyrics are increasingly difficult because their writing seems more suited to a poetry book than to a song.

The stars are 5. I have forgotten them.

I never looked into it deeply, but I remember the video for the debut single... Very nice.
