It took me a long time to realize it was MinoISE and not MinoGUE.

How wonderful to still have some records from the duo HuskerDu to discover.
Rece a bit hastily written perhaps?

I don’t know... for me, after Mezzazine, they lost something. Del Naja is good, but I can’t handle an entire album done in his style. In Massive, the dichotomy between him and Dj Mushroom (more soulful and warm) was really nice. Honestly, I wouldn’t know what contribution Marshall gives... I saw them live recently and for more than half the concert, he wasn’t even on stage.

I recently listened to it again and wow! I really liked it... I've kept it on loop a lot. Back then, I mainly listened to it out of curiosity... but now I'm discovering that I really enjoy it!

The last one I know is Diamond Eyes... I think I need to catch up on the next two as well.

Wow... I need to get my hands on this play based on how you describe it.

Pinocchio is the very first book I ever read. In fact, I think I learned to read with Pinocchio (the giant edition with beautiful illustrations) while my mother read it to me.

A review so pompous that it forces me to write a few words in defense of an album by a band I hate. Even for a detractor like me, it’s undeniable that GnR have been SOMETHING in the world of rock. An imagery that has destroyed generations of boys if they started listening to Rock if you will, but I can’t help but acknowledge their influence.

Songs like Appetite For Destruction and Sweet Child O' Mine have undeniably become part of the collective imagination: and that is also a fact.

Just for this, dismissing this album so easily seems risky to me. Moreover, I appreciate the punk and raw streak that runs rampant here, which ultimately makes this CD feel much more "real" than the two UYI (especially the first one gives me chills, not of pleasure).

So phrases like "Drums everywhere at any cost, synthesizers galore and the result is just noise, noise, and more noise" could be spared because anyone who uses such phrases, in a better world where Zen Arcade had sold a ton of copies, would use them for Zen Arcade too.

When it came out, I must have been 12 years old, and I have to say I kind of liked it, but by the time I was 14, it had become one of my most hated bands.

Today, when I feel absolutely nothing (I mean in general), I can say that the mocking of NIN in one of the early tracks still bothers me.

Ahaha...too kind. Anyway, I would say we have a semi-abandoned Facebook page in case you want to follow our adventures.
