a record of theirs that you absolutely have to listen to? I've always heard it in bits and pieces, but it really draws me in a lot.

If I can, I'll go see them in Lucca... it's been a while since I've followed them, but I have to say, great project.

But look, I have many doubts about the intellectual Battiato as well... in the sense; it really seems to me that all that aura of intellectuality is a sham.
On the other hand, I find Battiato's pop to be truly striking, and I must acknowledge its greatness.

I'll just lay this one down for you completely.

I don't want to sound like a retrograde, but I just don’t like them. They kind of annoy me; the only "merit" I can give them is that (as far as I know) I don't remember any rappers in our scene being so effeminate (at least it's a novelty). Meanwhile, I was listening to Young Signorino a while back, and both his beats and his rap, as well as his character, I have to say I find likable and quite appealing. I mean, at least he's a real case study, and you can't get more basic than that in rap (for me, reaching extremes is a merit).

Not one of his best. For the rest, it was a bit boring and quite troll.

Well done, write more often because I’m very ignorant about these things and it’s always nice.

fantastic record. It was high school and Trent was my idol.
Someone to care for :D

"The most banal of stories. This is the paradox of Marvel's latest mega-release" -> oh, the story as it was has been known since the 90s, huh?
I intentionally avoided any spoilers and I must say I enjoyed it. A comic book, perhaps with less depth (but not too much, and anyway we have to wait for the second part) than the historical comic. It’s fun, with always beautiful colors and great cinematography.
MCU films lack a bit of identity... in the sense that they all seem like one endless TV series, but for what they aim to be, I don't think they're too bad.

I don't want to be a reactionary, and maybe I'll listen to some Sfera again from this mix. For me, the problem isn't about being educational or unenlightening... damn, I wish they were really "bad teachers." Unfortunately, from my perspective, it seems quite the opposite... ultra-conservative. Sure, there's the periphery and all, but we’re always talking about people wanting cocaine, whores, and clothes. These are the dreams of a 40-year-old in a mid-life crisis :/ And there's not even really "the ghetto," the true marginalization to tell about.

I haven't listened to them very carefully yet, but honestly, how are these guys as rappers? I've listened a little, but I have to say they seemed pretty boring to me. I kind of like Ghali when he does "pop" songs (the one about Italy embarrassed me), and the Dark Polo seem really weak as rappers... I passed by Sfera's music and found it rather dull. Compared to a Guè or his friend Ciccia, they seem much, much worse (although hey, I’ve never even accidentally listened to a whole Club Dogo album). Or is it just my impression?

By the way, this scene is also accompanied by a horrible musical criticism that doesn't even try to "mix in" the artists that these people, probably second-hand, refer to. We're talking about stuff that’s been around in the USA for at least 5 years... maybe even longer. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like a very closed-off scene to me. Like someone who listens to Ligabue and doesn’t even make the effort to check out Springsteen.

But it’s actually gathering a lot of attention, maybe they’ll manage to build something around this scene.
