"the fabulous playing of McCoy Tyner, which had previously been the glue between rhythmic impressionism and free delirium" -> nice this one even if thinking of "A Love Supreme" it was more of a glue between a strangely composed and moderate Coltrane and a wild beast on the drums

I find it incredible (in a positive sense) how with this music Basinksi we've been able to achieve so much "popularity." The album is hypnotic and has a post-rock vibe that reminds me, in a distant way, of GYBE.

Not exactly an everyday listen and perhaps it can't fully express its meaning through headphones: it probably needs the right installation (like, in this case, the monument it serves as a soundtrack for).

Beautiful and interesting. I absolutely had no idea that Boney M performed in playback or that they were practically a German group... I was totally convinced they were American. Go figure sometimes.

But... the cover?
Is it your work?

beautiful as usual

I saw them on tour supporting their first album... it was a festival and I had never listened to anything by them. I remember getting a bit bored. But the way you talk about them, I think I need to catch up (Albarn, by the way, the more time passes, the more I like him).

Confusing title that definitely doesn’t help to remember that this album exists. As for the rest, I don't know, I don't think I'll ever listen to it. Too bad for D'Arcy, who I have no idea how he is today, but his look (before and especially during Adore) was really cool.

Incredibly, I realize I've never listened to anything by him as a solo artist. I have "Rosegarden" in the bonus tracks of "In the Flat Field"... and I didn't know it was his, can you believe it? I'll give it another listen now.

Well, POLO writes "provocative" now... I don't really know here, besides the "arrogance," if you're right or not because Kayne has always rubbed me the wrong way and I recognize that I’ve never fallen into that trap: but what a geeeenius! By the way, is this where he did that stupid thing of sampling King Crimson?

Instead, I totally fell into Kendrick's trap! NUMBER ONE!

beautiful...I have nothing of him. I didn't know the story of the record. Sooner or later...
