Anyway, I apologize for the provocation because in my other reviews many give ratings to the album like 1 without having listened to it, while you have listened to it, so your judgment is valid. Anyway, I wanted to ask you another thing: if someone likes brutal, they can’t just listen to Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation; if you like grind, you can’t just listen to Carcass or Napalm Death. I mean, I’m trying to listen to derivative bands that I might enjoy. In grindgore, for example, I discovered bands (in my opinion) very valid like Inhume, Dead Infection, Squash Bowels, or Lymphatic Phlegm. In brutal, I found Cenotaph, Deaden, Gutted, or Septycal Gorge, which are from Italy. In short, one shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater; there are excellent bands in the genre that have followed in the wake of the bands that created the genre. We need to look closely, but good stuff to listen to can be found.

Anyway, vocal virtuosity was somewhat of a jab at the genre; I didn't want to be serious when I wrote it.

You're right, indeed. If you saw the review of the CD, I gave it a 3, not a 5. I said it's worth listening to for a week, maybe ten days at most, and then that's it; it could be good as background music. It's not a masterpiece, I wrote that. I don't like the production either, and I mentioned that as well. So, since I'm interested in your opinions, I'd like to know what you think about Cenotaph. Try listening to the last one, "Reincarnation in Gorextasy," from 2007. It's a band I've been listening to a lot lately, and I think they deserve 5 stars. I’d like to know if you don’t like them either.

I really feel like saying all the bullshit a go-go just like your little friend above did.

Anyway, errata corrige, the production sucks: the drums are barely noticeable like a box of Dixan, I hate those fucking guitar sounds like harmonics, the vocals are brutal but not ultra brutal so it makes me sick, the bass doesn't exist. The production is too clean. Fuck it, I'm going to listen to Cenotaph again, those guys really kick ass.
