You filled a gap in the database, well done. The album is perhaps my least favorite by Kozelek and company, but there are still intense moments here like the mentioned "Golden" or "Void."

"Nouns" in 2008 was one of the best things. I didn’t know anything about this EP. At this point, I’ll take it and wait for them to come back with the next album.

I miss the album in question, but Lungfish turn me into a sloth with heart-shaped eyes!

Usually, right about now, young sprouts after fifteen minutes (of glory?) turn into Scaruffis.

Indeed, Luke Vibert's defection, coupled with a lack of sufficient funds, has pushed me to skip the long weekend. I’ll stay only for the Om or, at most, if some friends come up, I might go check out Mr. Flash and other individuals from Ed Banger, although it's not like I'm dying to go.

Their period I prefer, however, is the middle phase (1994 - 2000). I still find "Lobotomizer" a bit too raw, not inaccurate, but quite "standard." But already "Soothe" and, above all, "Mountain" (one of their best EPs) were a different story. For me, up until "Trust Us," we can still talk about extreme communicative urgency and passion. And "Timothy's Monster" teaches exactly that.

I will try to dig through my uncle's albums in a little while; maybe I'll find something and let you know.

If you mention Cap'n'Jazz and, above all, the underrated Indian Summer, I might just consider getting this.

I heard "Noah's Ark" some time ago, but I have no memory of it. Which is not a good sign.

I also took it as the only "physical" testimony of the Kinks in my discography. It may be one of my flaws, but I've never delved deeper than the historical hits (all present here, by the way) and the content of the aforementioned "Best Of". Maybe recommend me where to start. Review too long!
