Great stuff, I grew up with it. Awesome scene, the emo-core of the 90s. Besides the bands mentioned by DOPE, I would recommend listening to Elliott, Sensefield, early Get Up Kids.

I'm listening to the second one... you know, the neighbors are having a barbecue. I have to maintain some semblance of petit-bourgeois respectability...

Don't worry, Core, it's just my damn July in work mode. I'll be back, I'll be back... in the meantime, I'm going to blast Rated O, because I've been wanting to listen to it.

Perhaps the most significant group of the 2000s. Forget Radiohead. But I won't listen to them: I've formed an opinion, and that opinion doesn't align with the kind of music I want to listen to now. I don't need to get lost in it. I greet you and hug you, dear: I'll be away for a while.

Shoegaze is a genre I like, but not enough to dig as deep as you do... so I stick to the more "mainstream" stuff. Let's say that when it comes to digging, I'm much more hands-on with lo-fi garage. That's where I really go deep...

Where do you fish them out? You have an enviable sense of rhythm and an ability to describe sound. But I'm passing on the proposal: I only need (or needed) Converge.

Quite a lot... well. Repetitia Juvant. Is that how you say it?

I remember those being quite boring... but it wasn’t this record, though. I don’t know, I was pretty disappointed. Speaking of genre milestones, the other day I was at a friend’s place listening to the recent vinyl deluxe edition of Nowhere by Ride… damn.

My cousin once told me that those who listen to black metal have small dicks. But I don't believe it, come on... would that really mean everyone has a small dick? Everyone, everyone, everyone?
