Melvins The Bride Screamed Murder
Voto:
I stopped reading it halfway. Too long, man. Anyway, the Melvins are awesome. I haven’t listened to this latest one yet; I’ve read mixed reviews about it. Oh, by the way, they may have kicked Cobain out of the studios for wasting time, but he produced 2-3 tracks on "houdini" (if not more, I should check the booklet but I don’t feel like it).

Ah, summer is coming to an end, vacation is over, work/study resumes, and one starts hanging out on debaser again. And the incredibly boring reviews by Fabia are back. Ah, the circle of life...

Regarding the series-movie discussion, I agree with telespalla...the first one is very good, the second has nice moments but an ending that feels hacked together and an Accorsi that is simply unwatchable. @FOSCA: welcome back from your vacation...did you know that KM Stuart has his parents' house very close to mine? ;)
Chuck Palahniuk Senza Veli
Voto:
Yes, Palahniuk is a pain in the ass. The last one I read was Gang Bang, an absolute mess. Not even a bukkake, for crying out loud. @MADCAT: read Choke and Fight Club.

God save us from the Heineken Jammin' F.
However, beer, drunk ice-cold at six in the afternoon in summer, has its charm.
Morphine Cure For Pain
Voto:
Some things I share - the discourse on formal revolution - others I don't: for example, I don't see Morphine as a musically "cold" band. In my opinion, there is no contrast here between Sandman's voice and the instruments. It's a sick and introspective blues, sure, but with a very warm mood. In the final judgment, we agree: a great band, even when (in the album "Yes") they decided to flirt with pop.
