I wasn't even thrilled by the celebrated and extremely famous "Turno on..." 5 at Du Demon, which I haven't drunk since '99, 5 at Voodomiles. Still, I’d feel like buying this record just because it's been practically trashed by every living being on Earth.

Damn, you know how to write. I keep waiting, you know... they make me laugh, but generally, silly rock doesn't drive me crazy. Maybe it's because I take music too seriously :)

I loved "Hotel Tivoli," their first album. The guys have a lot to say. I definitely need to buy this. Well done, my crazy ciociaro! ;)

Hello dear ones. @CAPPIOALPOLLO: a pretty canonical wedding, in a beautiful garden in northern Rome. Were you there too? ;) @DADOSH: I completely agree with you. The first part is definitely the best, with the 3 songs I mentioned in the review and other good stuff. The second part loses a bit, but all in all it's a decent album, even if one of the least successful. @FOSCA and FEDEROCK: hello and welcome back. @SEAGULL: dear, the masterpieces of the Manics are others... one for example: "Roses in the Hospital" @MOPAGA: your point is spot on: the Manics have always challenged themselves, and you can't say they've ever made 2 identical albums in a row. @PROGROCK: look who it is! @ILLACRIMA: with Journal, you're on safe ground. @FEDEZAN: and of course it slipped out...

@VITOLS4: I understand your point of view. I haven’t talked much about the album in question, it’s true, but essentially for two reasons: because it’s not one of their most successful (TEENAGE docet) and because I’ve wanted for a long time to share with all of you what a band, an artist, music can do for a person's life. I wanted to share my love for music. I did it through a review, but I believe that’s not the medium; the important thing is to share. Bye

Hi everyone, thank you from the bottom of my heart. One clarification and then a few answers: my distancing from drugs and bad company has gone from partial to total over the years… now I allow myself a few healthy benders of red wine + rum every now and then, in the company of a few trusted friends. With this, I also respond to the lovely comment from VITOLS4. @CORE: I love you too. @FEDEZAN: go with The Holy Bible, cherished coward... @ALGOL: you too go with the bible, but I also recommend "Gold Against The Soul" and "Journal..." @PANICO: I didn't picture you as a Manics fan...ā€This is my Truth..." then, it's their most pop! Surprise! :) Regarding the discussion on the style of reviews: honestly, I don't pay much attention to it. I think like Core, Josi, and 47. I’ve written more "technical" reviews and others more "emotional": as a reader, I appreciate both styles; the important thing is that they can communicate something. And besides, we’re not exactly on the History of Music or Ondarock...

Good album. I confirm my impressions, already expressed elsewhere: alongside No Age (I also find the Crocodiles' latest work quite interesting), they seem to be the most equipped to last in this new indie-lo fi wave or whatever you want to call it. Good review.
