Musically, it doesn't seem very good to me. Much better are the lyrics and the sensitivity. The homage to De André by the railway worker on Che Tempo Che Fa was disgraceful. Cabernet, as usual, DOC.

Of course David Byrne likes it: Contra is a "depowered" Naked, some calypso suitable for aperitif hour, stimulating drums for the sapatamento delle ciaps, an echo of African guitar, a seemingly sincere good product, with retro sounds (based on the streaming on the official site). The singer is dreadful, perfectly fitting in the decor.

Battiato, an intellectual artist at all costs, having nothing to say, expresses it perfectly in his usual adelphian-esoteric medley, and can be paired with Paulo Coelho, more entertaining with the cuccuruccu'.
