Yes, Tobby may be stupid, but if I see Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson, I would vote for the album without even listening to it! :D It's a different story if I read Mike Oldfield, who has indeed made some cheesy albums, but I would never dream of voting for him a priori! If I see Grignani, I give him a 1 on trust, and as Son Art says, that’s it! :D

I first discovered Vic Chesnutt musically through "North Star Deserter" (an astonishing album), and unfortunately, his last work from 2009, "At the Cut," is truly intense. I believe the retrospective reevaluation of Vic is entirely deserved, and considering that his music and songs don't speak to everyone, I find it hard to generate commercial profits from the sales of his records! This, on the other hand, has already happened with Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley! A very heartfelt review!
