"<<you may be right, but what do you care, forgive me?>> Forgive me, but since when is it only the bare essentials that are said on DeBaser, communicated beforehand on stamped paper? I had already asked Alfredo about this. These moralistic remarks are a bit out of place, come on..."

<<CHICKEN LOOP: I recommend a psychologist.>> Thanks, little people, just tell me the name, but only if it's not the one you were going to...

Anyway, I'm reminded of "Oceano" by Lisa. The combination of piano and voice, the song itself, etc. She took it to Sanscemo about ten years ago, by now, maybe a little less, but I believe it was more or less in this style. Something a bit less cheesy than usual and made with a minimum of talent, in short. It's pointless to say that it didn’t place decently, nobody cared about it, it was successful in France, Germany, etc., and shortly after, she expatriated.

The solone is a more than decent (in size, square meters) living room, according to Gemma from the south. WOW, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SOLONE!!! I KNOW HOW TO SING, YES, BUT SOMETIMES I ALSO LIKE TO DANCE IN MY SOLONE...

And what was this, then? I don’t know, was it striving for the title of the most redundant concept ever on DeBaser? Who knows, if you want to stay on theme, I could counter with a phrase like "water is wet...". Maybe it’s a notion that comes in handy for you. Thanks, anyway! Seriously, thanks for the learned, and above all - this time yes - useful communication. This too, in fact, is quite due. And, for the record, I know a few people who listen to more than forty a year (though I’m not sure about that). I know Scaruffi... But at least he thinks he’s a music critic, you know... he does it for a living. Are you a critic too? Do you have a particular metabolism? Are you a victim of compulsive downloading? I mean, what leads you to listen to ONLY 40 albums a year? Let’s talk about it. I mean, I could do it too... in fact, considering there are 365 days in a year, 24 hours in a day, and an average album lasts about an hour... well, I could listen to 8760 (wallet permitting) without ever sleeping, or hoping they publish fewer than 8760 to gain some extra hours of sleep. But then - aside from the fact that I’d sleep the whole following year to recover lost hours of sleep, waking up the next year without even remembering who I am - what would I have left of these 8760 albums? I like music and have no reason to adopt such approximate, reckless, and stressful methods. If I like an album - a pleasure then, not a job - I listen to it obsessively. Also because, you know, maybe you fall in love with it and listen with different ears. It goes without saying that to fall in love with an album, certainly three listens - which at most, by necessity, you would have granted to these poor 40 records (records, by the way? Those in lists and numbers usually just have hard drives that are too big) - are not enough. They aren't enough if you don’t savor the nuances each time. It’s not as easy as you imply. Someone who says they listen to 40 albums a year doesn’t actually listen to them, they hear them and surely don’t fall in love with them. An unnecessary polemic then? I’d call it an observation, a confirmation, etc. And what’s truly unnecessary here is the pretentiousness of the zealots. Alfredo, whatever you think, but someone who says: "the only merit of Britpop is that it's not mandatory to listen to it," as far as I'm concerned, doesn’t count. No polemic, really, let it go. As you know, I even find you likable, but perhaps it’s better if we talk about women. And then, yes, you can thank me, because it’s a fact that my comment offered you a cue to join the discussion and share your thoughts. And that’s good, eh. I don’t want to imagine what you would have said without it, given the usefulness of your comment and the numerous arguments it tackles, if it hadn’t been there. But then, who knows: "Finally someone who debates on useful things and encourages you to join the discussion to share your views." As if I had only been on the site since yesterday. Grab the legendary DeBaser rant!

Ah, Fiquata, if that about the forty-year-olds was a nonsensical epithet, I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me what "disco for forty-year-olds" means. I'm saying this to you because you took the time to joke about it, but maybe you also know seriously what Azzo meant.

What a sadness. It even slides further down than before. I have nothing against twenty-somethings, just as I have nothing against forty-somethings, and it's well known that there are twenty-somethings more miserable than forty-somethings who "feel it," and forty-somethings who would have no choice but to tear their hair out, if only they still had some left... The MV are these, just like the others were, take it or leave it. For me, this album can only fail to convince if you listen to it twice because: a) you don’t feel like doing it; b) you think they’ve said everything before; c) since they’ve already said everything, you were expecting the worst (which duly arrives… the power of autosuggestion). The MV remain true to their style without falling off, simply because, unlike the aforementioned Minghi, they still have something to say, period (in this regard, it’s surprising how no one mentions the freshness of "La bellezza violata"). The FBYC suck, but I could also be wrong, and if you snub them you’re not indiesnob (on the contrary, the indiesnob praises them while shoveling dirt on, let’s say, Radiohead), but if you snub this album, then yes, you are indiesnob.

Do you comment randomly? What does "an album for forty-year-olds" mean? It seems to me that Blech really likes the album, maybe even too much to be able to write something worthy about it. Ah, Fine Before You Came and Bachi da pietra, which rightly have nothing to do with each other, are terrible.

"Not many, around forty at most." A credible and necessary clarification, indeed. What is it? Celolunghismo or cazzodurismo? Then I imagine if you had listened to so many... Anyway, regarding "Ecailles de Lune," I just wanted to say that, oh dear!, I was noticing the quote from "Claire de Lune" from the "Suite Bergamasque" in "Say You'll Go"!
