Very long review, but spot on, despite the layout that makes it a bit more complicated than it is. One thing, I think I need to reevaluate the cover. Wonderful album. Lastly, Wazoo... no, forget it.

Well, honestly, I don’t see many points of comparison between Gaetano and De André, and in some aspects, Gaetano could even be superior to him, so? As for the Queen, I think you missed something, and if they are overrated, they have always been so, since Mercury was alive. In short, the argument you make is not incorrect, but not in these cases. The same goes for the Giovagnini album that no one votes for, probably because no one has listened to it. So, what are your theses based on? I don’t deny that the review speaks of an album that is surprising even for me; I struggle to believe in the quality being discussed, but I would say I’ll listen to the album before talking. I was saddened by her death, though; she was a really beautiful girl.

Boring these false connoisseurs of originality, the derivations and all the other nonsense from limited pseudo-alternative types. I believe, and I always say, that what really matters in the end is the final result, and who the hell cares if there's a lack of originality? Music is not just that. I like the review, you’ve intrigued me with a few guiding words. I'll give it a listen. Thank you.

It's a bit pretentious to list American Idiot among the best albums of the decade, a decade that is still ongoing, by the way. Two for the commitment, the passion, and the "quality" that you believe they should have focused on, who can blame you? (!)

Come on, the masterpiece is not in the freshness, let alone the evolution you mentioned ("Soft Bulletin," "Deserter's Songs," etc.), and above all, it’s not about freshness at all costs after more than forty years since its release. It’s the essence that makes the difference, and this record has been/is essential. In my opinion, the freshness of this work hasn’t entirely faded, especially when compared to so much garbage that continues to be produced today. The arrangements are excellent, the melodies too, and we’re no longer dealing with the carefree surf rock they previously embodied. The review isn’t flawless, but I like how it’s structured. However, perhaps I wouldn’t give that four.

A five works for me without too many issues, but the fact that it doesn't carry the same weight as a five given, I don't know, to an Happy Sad? is another matter. Unfortunately, it happens all too often that giving a four feels like too little and a five feels like too much. Should we perhaps hold a referendum for a broader evaluation scale? For a five? Come on, who cares.
