No, it is neither correct nor insignificant since sales are one thing, while radio plays and musical rotation on MTV (or those like her) are another.

I was referring to commercial/sellable sounds, but here in Italy, as I was saying, they haven't really been like that. You can sell a lot even without being so mainstream, don’t you think? Catchiness doesn’t always affect sales.

What does it have to do with it? It has to do with it since C'è expressed his opinion on the matter, and I felt the need to clarify. Rather, what do you have to do with it now? You know what? I'm finding your contributions rather smug, and I'm sorry to say it, but who cares about Barry Manilow? We're talking about a specific case. However, if you want, we can also have a competition to see who can list more obscure musicians who deserve success.

Absolutely brilliant review, I'm amazed by the no-votes, the four and the one. Well, maybe it makes sense; I mean, it's understandable that not everyone can grasp it, perhaps due to the translated quotes, or maybe because, despite the translations, they refer to groups that aren't familiar. In short, it’s their problem, great review and the rating is 5. The album is stunning, it opens up any ass and greets the small intestine, threatening it with eternal constipation. "A Short Happy Life" and "Christmas Song" stand out the most, perhaps "Miss Drugstore" is remarkable as well. Beautiful yet overlooked and hard to find.

John's being less eccentric, I don't know what you meant, but in this case, it seems only like a virtue to me. Anyway, the comparison to the latter holds very little in the end, except for a few little things and the figure of the pianist playing "pop." Of course, I could've written the review myself, but let's be honest, come on, doesn't a review structured this way intrigue you more? This approach is a tribute to the album, and considering that there will be hundreds of reviews structured like a game, this one was meant to be a statement designed to intrigue the reader. It’s not to say that it won't be re-proposed in the future (maybe once again by me) in the form of a "normal" review. Finally, Joel mainstream, absolutely not; catchy and commercial, yes, but by mainstream, I usually mean something that, perhaps with little real merit, the radio obsessively embraces, and honestly, while listening to the radio, I've never come across any of the songs on this album (rather a "Honesty" or a "Just the Way You Are," which, however, are not part of the album in question). Lastly, even if Joel were truly mainstream as you say, here in Italy, he doesn't resonate at all. And if I had to saturate an entire nation with "pop," I would prefer to hear a Billy Joel rather than the chart concoctions we are condemned to.

@MACACO: generally speaking, it's the same for me; take the case of my other review (not that I consider it a great work of art, quite the opposite!). However, I don’t see what the problem is if someone wants to highlight the beauty of an album with a device like this just this once. Then, speaking humbly, I believe there have been far more useless reviews than this one. And I never claimed it was a review, even though in the central part I "went off" saying two or three key things. Initially, it had a title: "De-review." In short, it didn't aim to be a review, and I don’t see it as a miss either. Where is it written that it’s no longer possible to write a review of this album (especially when previously, in this case, so little has been said)? It would be trivial if we all did this, yes, it’s not a rule; mine is just an exception. @POLKATULK88: if you set aside the debut, it’s the best album with which you can start getting to know Joel, especially since it’s the second!

Hey friends, anyway you can go now. As a wrap-up, I suggest some reviews of Cemetery Fog, whoever they are. The setting would definitely be more fik_, more fitting!

However, it doesn’t seem to me that I have reviewed a random album, nor am I inclined to review anything that hasn’t already been reviewed. It’s an album that I appreciate quite a lot, and my principle is to review the album I like, only if it’s missing in the DeBaser database; if the album is already there, I just leave a comment and a rating, unless I risk getting too lengthy, in which case, without too much hesitation, I would suggest a nice duplicate. This is because I wanted to clarify that I have not at all taken my NON-REVIEW in question as an obligation, but I believe a REVIEW for this album was at least warranted.
