Are you kidding yourself? Gus Van Sant is one of my favorite directors (elephant above all, obviously), but this film is absolute garbage... boring, with no ideas, a film where we see the protagonist wandering back and forth. I'm really sorry, but I understand the adoration one can have for Cobain, but giving more than half a star to this film means looking for things in it that simply aren't there in order to like it. (Which seems to be the case in the review too.) I don’t rate the review (which I find completely unfounded; it’s clear you really like Nirvana and wanted to find something profound in this film, but come on... you realize that, right?) nor the film because I couldn’t give it less than one star, and I think that would be too generous. The list of the worst films of all time? 1) Picasso Trigger 2) Blair Witch Project 3) Home 4) Last Days.
