It should also be noted that the film, after a somewhat boring first half hour, really takes off; the scene of him jumping from the moving train is beautiful, and the ending is thrilling and far from predictable. A superb and insightful review!

It's a stunning book, read in one go, too bad about the ending, maybe a bit predictable, but the narrative level remains consistently high. Great Gary Madsen! Thrillers like this just aren't written anymore today!
