The legendary Adidas strikes again with a grand recession. I would say Phenomenable, as that little rascal Raptor would have said.

The first time I listened to Metannica as a little kid, I immediately felt that this music would make great strides in a landscape dominated by fake dancers and twilight actors. In fact, the astonishing band Mecallica has come a long way and has managed to churn out excellent Hevy Melat cookies. This Discio confirms their positive trend of the new millennium and demonstrates again to the detractors of the band its true Karatura and its status quo as an exceptional band loved by both youth and senior old, as I have now become, yes, because time passes and 20 years ago I was also 18 years younger, tall, blonde, and athletic, with steel pecs from hundreds and hundreds of push-ups every morning at 6 right after waking up. Now I've been reduced to a human larva who has to pay to do fiki fiki with a woman who, by the way, was first a man. Time passes for everyone, and there's nothing we can do about it, but one thing remains, and that is the beautifully played music of Metappica, a band that is more than just a band; it's a cutting-edge lifestyle, always danceable but never saccharine, and I hope Mr. Adelmo Fornaciari won't take offense. And then in this band plays a real guitarist, with a real electric guitar, not one of those digital ones sold in video game stores, those from guitarlab, which is a game with the sports doctors of Milan who have fun tearing Cacà's patellar tendon using fake electronic guitars. Here we have the legendary Kirk "douglas" Hammer, friends, yes, him, and excuse me if that's not enough!

This morning, like every Thursday, I went out to the road, the dangerous and nasty and dirty and cursed road, to throw away old magazines and newspapers in the paper bin. It’s a big yellow bin, with a nice big black uppercase lettering that reads PAPER. I don't remember exactly, but it seems to me that last week there wasn't another sign above that one, and yet this morning there was, big, black, in uppercase: MARCO. What does it mean?

Yet another masterpiece from the incredible Jurix. A review written with passion, tenacity, grit, and courage to spare. An excellent piece of work that succeeds in the task of describing an album without bogging down in tedious and discouraging details, but getting straight to the heart of the story that lies behind an album that may not be a masterpiece, but is nonetheless a hardcore old school record, a reference genre for all those who, even if they don't love it, can still come to appreciate it.

Generally, I am a cheerful person, and when I come to Debaser, it's to have fun and relax a bit. But frankly, sentences like those written by FLIEGER in comment 14 leave me speechless. FLIEGER, YOU'RE REALLY AN IDIOT.
Lynyrd Skynyrd Old Time Greats

Lynyrd Skynyrd were an exceptional band. Here, they are relatively unknown, or at least less so compared to the great English bands, perhaps because the term "southern rock" is often associated with a well-defined geographical area; many think, "Well, that's typical American rock, something that belongs to them, their culture, their way of life—what does it have to do with me?" That's why I've never liked the term Southern Rock; in a certain sense, it's "ghettoizing," and it often gets identified with a certain conservative culture that is hostile to the different, which certainly hasn't helped the genre's success outside the States. But if one makes the effort to evaluate only the music, leaving aside aspects related to it but not necessarily dependent on it, one realizes that, after all, Lynyrd Skynyrd's sound was a Rawky Rawll with influences from honky-tonk country, boogie, and blues, and it also winked at European hard blues and often veered into hard rock episodes. In short, a complete and very genuine rock in my view. With a right balance between attention to instrumental parts and the ability to craft songs that could also be catchy. A rough and dirty rock, but never excessive. Sometimes cheerful, other times melancholic, but always very vital. As far as I'm concerned, they satisfy my listening needs 100%. They are everything I have always looked for in rock music.

Stunning and spectacular recession of my buddy Taurus the Bull. Regarding this album, I think it's their best. Besides the title track, which is legendary like Justice, there are excellent hard rock pieces like Headlong and The Hitman. The Show Must Go On is a classic pop-rock anthem in Queen style, very beautiful, with that unparalleled "I Can Fly my Friend." Ride the Wild Wind is also an excellent track, featuring a very intense solo. These Are The Days Of Our Life is an emotional ballad, especially if you know the lyrics and relate it to what Freddie was going through. And then a word about Bijou; here Brian May truly surpasses himself. One last reflection, Freddie knew he was about to die, but despite this, he continued to record until the very end, with a merciless state of health, managing to deliver exceptional performances and demonstrating immense love for music and for the fans. In defiance of that arrogant and smug criticism that always accused him of caring only about money and success.
