THE REVIEW

The hardcore old-school offered by these Germans Skeezicks is raw and powerful, perhaps a bit too repetitive. "Selling Out" doesn't lack the fast outbursts that alternate with more rhythmic songs, although in some episodes such as "Consequences" and "Get Straight", they end up being monotonous.

However, there are some good songs like the opening "Fast / Loud" and other more unclassifiable tracks like the fast "Seasick" that halfway through transforms into an acoustic piece with a quite improbable folk choir, "Lee Got v.d." and its 16 seconds duration, or "Sauerkrauts" with a more rock-like pace.

"Heavy Metal Sucks" is also great, which says a lot about the band's musical attitude, "Slam Brigade", and the title track.

A decent album, released in 1987; 30 minutes where, in my opinion, the best parts are the digressions, even if the remaining tracks are not badly played at all.

Summary by Bot

Skeezicks' Selling Out! delivers raw and fast old-school hardcore punk, though some tracks feel repetitive. Standout moments include unconventional songs blending speed with acoustic elements. Overall, a decent 1987 punk album with energetic bursts and notable musical digressions.
