I admit that I couldn't read the entire book in question, so my rating should be considered proportional to the number of pages I actually read. But "I heard it from a guy who heard it from another guy who was sitting next to his cousin who told him" that a book like this I could write myself if you give me pen and paper on a Sunday morning, say around three or four in the morning. Of course, if it was good, I'd be more than happy to write it...

I give a 5 to the work because when I had the (un)luck to listen to it, it literally made me shit my pants. And I'm not a fussy person when it comes to musical tastes; I live on a diet of Neurosis and Meshuggah. I can't wait for the sequel to the ritual fires to come out; if I like it, I'll buy the original. You can count on it.
