Interesting mention, but honestly I find the Verdena sound quite contrived. If I get the chance, I'll listen to something anyway. The review perhaps loses itself a bit too much in your dormant memories that a casual listener can never have.

One could say a little more… I don't know, Anderson's splendid "pastel" style is quite evident; there's almost a fabulous atmosphere, not to mention that, rather than stereotypes, we are talking about extremely eccentric characters. Furthermore, the fact that the film does not conclude with a happy ending (in true Anderson style) is worth emphasizing, as it adds flavor to the entire movie and distinctly elevates it above other comedies, no matter how well made they may be. It's that very ending (which doesn't really conclude anything) that leaves you asking, "Is this a great film or not?"
