No PANAPP, but you need to explain this to me. How old were you in '93? I believe you were too young to say that this album was any less "right" than Velvet Rope. I guarantee you it was definitely right. Then... whether it has become heavier or not, who knows. It's subjective judgment. I find it very personal and well-crafted. It’s a shame about the overflowing superficiality of some comments (not yours). I'm glad I'm feeling less and less inclined to contribute to the ridiculousness from people with the musical breadth of an acute angle.

great catch. I have this album on cassette and I think I'll buy it again on CD. I loved it back in the day (1993) and I think it's a really great product with at least 4-5 masterpieces ("that's the way..." and "if" "again", "anytime. anyplace"). It would be a solid 4.5. but now, you timid reviewer, brace yourself for the worst, because here on deBaser "the male has to stink".
