I can’t wait to share my thoughts:
1) It was Arisa who sang with Maestro Luttazzi, not Karima. (Or maybe you misspoke?)
I admit I didn’t watch Sanremo in its entirety, but I’ve seen enough to think that: I didn’t like the directing at all, nor the cinematography and the aerial shots that made the kermesse look like an episode of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." I can’t stand Bonolis and Laurenti anymore, especially the latter. The former really needs to stop swallowing dictionaries just for the sake of it. One million euros remains a madness and will never be well spent in this field. I didn’t see Benigni (thankfully), I wish him the witch's stroke in the next billiard game at least he realizes he’s too old to act like a fool on the stairs. As for the other guests, I don’t know; I’m sorry I didn’t see Spacey, I didn’t understand Hefner’s significance, Lennox shouldn’t have sung because she showed us the limits of a voice that is now gone, although her message for the SING campaign was touching. About the songs: I think I only saw the worst from the big names. I appreciated Dolcenera’s look, and I’d say Masini is aging well. Almost all the big artists’ songs were terrible. The young artists, however, really impressed me. Very high level. Arisa deserved the victory with a very simple song, but vocally not so simple. Karima brought a splendid, very difficult piece, which she also wrote herself. She could have won as well, but Arisa stands out more. The song by Molinari was nice too: catchy and of quality. The daughters of... were good but bland. Canzian abuses vibrato, and Fornaciari is aesthetically quite unfortunate, but that’s fine since I can’t stand her father. One last note about De Filippi: she may host trashy shows but she is a great professional, without arrogance or vanity. Tele: did we watch the same show???
