I wasn’t aware of these technical-logistical problems nor of the imbalance in the parts. Anyway, I didn’t notice it at all. Dorian Gray was a timeless beauty and Teddy Reno was quite impressive too. Totò and Peppino were nonetheless remarkable. My favorite quote from the film? Totò/Peppino’s sister reading the anonymous letter: “YOUR SON, INSTEAD OF STUDYING, IS GETTING INVOLVED WITH WOMEN OF ILL REPUTE. SIGNED, A FRIEND.”
