Hello Captain! This author intrigues me even though I've read very contrasting opinions about him. Be careful with me because, as a good Germanist, I know all about Bildungsroman! The comparison with masterpieces such as Canetti's trilogy, Hesse's The Glass Bead Game, or Keller's Green Henry could be lurking. I'm inspired by Kafka on the beach, what do you think, should I give it a shot? Happy Easter!

Sinéad O'Connor I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got

this album is eternal precisely because it is bare. it lives solely off Sinéad's voice and personality. the writing starts off well but then you get lost in nebulous thoughts. p.s. I love all of Sinéad's work because it is sincere.

@GUMMO: yesterday I launched a themed challenge between France and England. For France, "Martyrs" took the field, and for England, "The Children". I must admit that both were excellent films. However, I slightly preferred "The Children", which focused less on splatter and more on the psychological. It reminded me a bit of "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" by Curtis Hanson. In any case, the subtext of "Martyrs" isn’t bad either. Now I will try with À l'intérieur. Hi everyone!

The review is not "well written," I'm sorry @HUGIONOT. The third sentence is quite grammatically incorrect. I don't want to nitpick, but what needs to be said must be said. The shorter the text, the more necessary a greater attention to form and sentence structure becomes. (And I have made mistakes too, so I put myself in the mix). Let's say that I intend for this to be a constructive comment. Maximum respect.

formally the review is somewhat ugly, better the content. however, I like the sample. it sounds like Lou Reed.
