great review! it’s not among my favorites. I’m sorry. I believe in its lyrical honesty, but it's a type of poetry that I find not very impactful, according to my standards. the review is excellent. perhaps you reveal a bit too much at one point. in any case, I see some glimpses of Kim Ki Duk (my current favorite director) in "La Samaritana." Eastern cinema can amaze as well as disappoint (like all cinemas, after all); I will watch it... but not now...

I haven't listened to it in ages. I even went to the concert at Palalido in MI. I risked getting mauled by a horde of punks in the front rows. I remember it as a great record. Now, though, I listen to other stuff.

Well, you know...everyone has always spoken highly of her. I, who know quite a few chanteuses, can only say that she was a pioneer in the genre, especially for the years when she emerged. However, the girl is vocally not very gifted, and the songs are quite harmless. Ten years later, Lori Carson and Sophie Zelmani have far surpassed her in the genre.
