@ axel: doggystyle was just sufficient, a bit overrated. Italian rap? It makes me sick. @ merito: are you joking or being serious? How can you say those are classics... come on... it’s not lame to say that Eminem was decent at rapping, it’s not so wrong to claim it: good flow, decent songwriting, nice tone. It is, however, lame to say those tracks are classics or that he’s the greatest of all time. Together with Nas and 2Pac? The first one is very mediocre, the second one, as often happens, is overhyped after his death. Strongly mediocre. Who said that 8 Mile is inspired by his life? Never said it, I know the movie well, I even have the DVD. A bit flashy, but interesting, nothing to say. Before talking about history, the greatest rappers of all time, the best ever and similar stuff, get a bit of culture.

I also recommend to our friend: onyx, gangstarr, dead prez, cypress, non phixion, epmd, company flow, 2livecrew, big daddy kane, krsone, llcoolj old school period, beatnuts, gmflash, bambataa, naughtybynature, gravediggaz, lords of underground, mos def! happy searching, you'll see that as soon as you listen to even just 2 of these names you'll throw away your copy of encore. :D PERSONALLY, among all of them, I recommend tougher than leather by run dmc. :)

Even though we could further extend the list with at least another fifty essential names to listen to, for someone who considers re.up a classic album... it would be a superfluous thing :D
