I would see her better for softer things like chill out and stuff like that; with this pseudo-electropop, she has crushed my balls, she doesn't have the voice for these things. The album is better than the rest of the pop garbage, but apart from some illusions, nothing exciting.

I don't know liumin in particular, but I'm well aware of the project; briefly, it's high-quality techno dub with (the name says it all) a profoundly deep sound featuring ambient "strings" on a 4/4 backdrop in the style of Basic Channel, Yagya, Maurizio, and all those folks! This is the type of record I was referring to when the review of 2562 mentioned "innovative" records, etc. That is a great record, but indeed similar ones have been coming out for years :) Is this liumin new? Anyway, it's a different kind of dub from Cargo, which is mainly based on breaks rather than techno rhythms!
